Abstract Submission Guidelines

Format Requirements

  • Length: Abstracts should be between 250-300 words, excluding title, authors, and keywords.
  • Structure: Include background, objectives, methodology, results (or expected results), and conclusion.
  • Keywords: Include 3-5 keywords that best describe your research.
  • Author Information: Include names, affiliations, and contact information for all authors.
  • File Format: Submit as a Microsoft Word document (.docx).

Selection Criteria

Abstracts will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

  • Relevance: Alignment with conference themes and objectives.
  • Originality: Novelty and innovation of the research or approach.
  • Methodology: Soundness and appropriateness of the methodology.
  • Impact: Potential contribution to engineering practice and sustainable development in Africa.
  • Clarity: Clear and concise presentation of ideas.
